Verse of the Day: Acts 16:31

👋 Good morning!

Today is a new day, a fresh opportunity to live out our faith in Jesus Christ. Let us remember that we are not saved by our own merit, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. As we go about our day, let us live with the assurance that we are saved and loved by God, and let us share this love with those around us.

Verse of the Day

"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."

This verse reminds us of the simplicity of our salvation. Our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is the foundation of our salvation. We do not have to perform any great deeds or meet any certain standards to be saved. We simply need to believe in Him and trust that He has saved us.

As we go about our day, let us remember that our faith in Jesus Christ not only saves us, but it can also be a source of hope and salvation for our loved ones. Acts 16:31 reminds us that through our faith, our family and those around us can also be saved. Let us pray for those who do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, and let us live in such a way that they may see the love of Christ through us.

Prayer of the Day

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the simplicity of my salvation through my belief in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to trust in Him fully and to be confident in the fact that my salvation is secure in Him. Please open the hearts of my loved ones who do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, and help me to be a light to them through my faith and actions. Strengthen me in my faith so that I may be bold and unashamed to share the Gospel with others.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Quote of the Day

"Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty."

— Steven Lawson

This quote reminds us that salvation is not something we earn through our good deeds or righteous actions. Instead, it is a gift freely given to us by God, despite our guilt and sin.

This is the beauty of grace - that we receive something we do not deserve, solely because of God's love and mercy towards us. We can rest in the assurance that our salvation is not based on our own efforts or merit, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
