📖 Verse of the Day
"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience."
Reflection:
This verse is a beautiful reminder of who we are in God's eyes and how we're called to live. Think of it like getting dressed in the morning. Just as we put on our clothes, we're encouraged to 'put on' qualities that reflect God’s love and goodness.
'Clothing ourselves with compassion' means showing a deep care and understanding for others, especially those who are hurting. 'Kindness' is about being friendly and generous, even when it’s hard. 'Humility' asks us to remember that everyone is valuable, and we’re not better than anyone else. 'Gentleness' is about being soft and calm in our actions and words. And 'patience' – that's sometimes the hardest – means waiting and not getting upset, even when things don’t happen as quickly as we'd like.
Today, let's consciously 'wear' these qualities. In every interaction, in every challenge, let's show the world what it means to live as people who are 'holy and dearly loved' by God.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this new day. Inspired by Colossians 3:12, I seek to embody compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. May each of these virtues be evident in my interactions, reflecting Your love and grace.
Guide my heart to empathize, my actions to serve selflessly, and my words to bring comfort. Help me to patiently navigate challenges with a gentle spirit, showing Your character to those around me.
Lord, in being Your chosen and beloved, let my life be a living testimony of Your transformative work. May I spread Your light and love in all I do, glorifying Your name.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
