"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

Today's Scripture shines a spotlight on God’s intimate involvement in your life. It tells us that the Lord is not merely watching from heaven; He goes before you, smoothing out the road, removing stumbling blocks, and standing as your advance guard.

This divine assurance is our antidote to fear and discouragement. God is saying, “You’re not on your own. I’m right here, leading the way, and I have no intention of leaving you behind.” When you truly grasp this, your perspective shifts, and what appeared as insurmountable challenges become opportunities for God to display His power.

When God says He will "never leave you nor forsake you," He's declaring His relentless commitment to you. This isn’t a fleeting emotion but a steadfast promise. You can walk through today and every day with the full assurance that you're enveloped in God’s grace and love.

Where in my life do I need to more fully trust that God is going before me and making a way?

Lord God,

Thank You for Your promise to lead me and never leave me. Your faithfulness extinguishes my fears and uplifts my spirit. Today, I will walk boldly in the knowledge that You are my front guard and my rear guard, making every crooked path straight.
