Verse of the Day: Ephesians 6:12

👋 Good morning!

As we start this new day, let's reflect on the sobering truth in Ephesians 6:12.

Verse of the Day

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

This verse reminds us that our battles as Christians are not merely worldly or physical. We face spiritual enemies tempting us towards sin and darkness. Satan would love nothing more than to see us stumble.

But take heart! Through Christ, we have power over the enemy. With the armor of God - truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and the Spirit - we can stand firm. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the ultimate victory!

As you go through your day today, remember you have immense power in Christ to defeat what comes against you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

Prayer of the Day

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for the reminder that my struggles are not merely worldly, but spiritual battles against darkness. When the enemy comes to tempt me, give me discernment and strength to stand firm in Your power and protection.

Give me courage to daily put on the full armor of God that You provide, so I may stand victorious over the schemes of the devil. Help me keep my eyes fixed on You. You have already won the ultimate victory!

I praise You Lord. Amen.
