Verse of the Day
"For we were born only yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow."
Job 8:9 paints a vivid picture of how fleeting our days on earth can be, likening them to a passing shadow. While it reminds us of the transience of life, it also carries an uplifting message: to value every moment we are given. Each day is an opportunity to share love, learn, and connect deeper with God. And even as our earthly days are numbered, our relationship with God isn't.
It's a bond that transcends time, reminding us that this temporal life is a prelude to an eternal relationship with our Creator. So, as we go about our days, let's be inspired to embrace every chance to grow, love, and serve, knowing that each moment brings us closer to an eternity with Him.
Prayer of the Day
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the gift of today. Though my time here is brief, I know each moment is an opportunity to reflect Your love and purpose. Ignite my heart with a passion to cherish every day and to serve in Your name. Guide me towards the eternal joys You have prepared for me, and help me share the hope I have in You with others.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
