π Verse of the Day
βHe was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.β
Reflection:
Today we turn our thoughts to the opening verses of John's Gospel, where we find Jesus, the Word, not only present at the beginning but integral to the act of creation itself. These words offer us a glimpse into the boundless authority and the creative force of Christ, through whom all things came to be.
This profound reality invites us to see the world, and our very existence, as a canvas of divine artistry, with Jesus as the master artist. It is He who paints the hues of the sunrise, who sculpts the mountains, and who whispers life into every living thing. And it is this same Jesus who breathes purpose into our lives, who holds the universe together, and who tenderly shapes our destinies.
Today, let us walk in the fullness of this truth, looking upon the world and one another through the lens of Christ's creative love. As we do, may we be inspired to live, to create, to love, and to serve with the same intentionality and passion that He has shown in crafting the very fabric of the cosmos.
Ask Yourself:
How does acknowledging Christ as Creator affect the way I interact with the world and those around me? How can I honor His creative work in my daily life?
π Prayer of the Day
Lord,
As I sit here with the morning light just beginning to peek through, my mind wanders to the start of everything β how You were there, making it all happen. It's a bit much to wrap my head around, but it fills me with such gratitude.
You didn't just set the world spinning and walk away; You're here, involved in every little bit of my life. That kind of attention, that care β it's not something I take lightly. Help me today to live in a way that honors that. Teach me to see Your creative hand at work, and to treat each part of Your world, each life I touch, as something precious.
Thanks for being constant, for the promise of what's to come, and for this life β Your masterpiece that I get to be a part of.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
