“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.”

Reflection:

In the upper room, Jesus turns the world's idea of greatness upside down. As He kneels to wash His disciples' feet, the Lord and Teacher becomes the Servant. This single act is a powerful declaration that in God's kingdom, true greatness is found not in status or power, but in humble service.

When Jesus washes His disciples' feet, He's not just performing a menial task; He's setting an example. He's showing us that love is more than words; it's a verb. It's a willingness to roll up our sleeves, to stoop down, and to meet the needs of others, even when it's inconvenient or uncomfortable.
