π Verse of the Day
"Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you."
Reflection:
How often do we invest our time, energy, and resources in things that won't last? While it's essential to attend to our earthly responsibilities, John 6:27 serves as a poignant reminder to prioritize what's truly lastingβour spiritual nourishment. The "food" that Christ offers isn't fleeting; it nourishes our soul and prepares us for eternity.
Today, let's pause and consider where we are investing most of our time and efforts. Are they aligned with eternal values or just for temporary gain? This isn't a call to abandon our worldly responsibilities but an invitation to harmonize them with our heavenly calling. When we put God first, the rest falls into place, just as it should.
π Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this reminder to prioritize the eternal over the temporal. Help me discern how to balance my earthly responsibilities while keeping my eyes fixed on You. Fill me with the spiritual nourishment only You can provide, so I can live a life that truly matters.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
π Quote of the Day
"Eternal life does not begin with death; it begins with faith."
