Verse of the Day: Matthew 11:28

👋 Good morning, friends!

As we begin this day, let's embrace a promise of rest and peace from our Savior. Today's focus is on Matthew 11:28:

Verse of the Day

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Each day, we carry different kinds of burdens—pressures at work, family responsibilities, health concerns, or even the weight of past mistakes. These burdens can be exhausting, draining the joy from our lives. Yet, Jesus extends to us an extraordinary invitation: come, and find rest.

This isn't an ordinary rest—it's not about just getting more sleep or taking a vacation. This is a spiritual rest, a rest that goes to the depths of our souls, bringing peace to our troubled minds and hearts. It's a rest that refreshes, rejuvenates, and restores, no matter what we are going through.

Jesus invites us to find this rest in Him. When we bring our burdens to Him, He doesn't just help us carry them; He lifts them off completely, replacing them with His peace. So, today, respond to His call. Come to Him, lay down your burdens, and find the rest that your soul longs for.

Prayer of the Day

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your unfailing love and grace. As I embark on today's journey, when I feel tired or burdened, remind me of Your promise to provide rest and peace. Teach me to surrender my burdens to You, trusting that You will carry them for me.

Help me to depend not on my own strength but on Yours. Fill my heart with Your peace and my spirit with Your joy. Use me as a vessel of Your love and a beacon of Your light to those around me. May my actions today glorify You.

In the precious name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Quote of the Day

"God knows what you will need a week from now, a month from now, even ten years from now. And the good news is He’s already taking care of you."

— Joel Osteen
