Verse of the Day: Matthew 7:1

🌞 Good morning!

Welcome to another beautiful day, where we have yet another chance to live out the gospel and grow closer to our Creator. Today's scripture offers us wisdom that is incredibly relevant to our everyday lives.

πŸ“– Verse of the Day

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged."

Reflection:

This verse is a powerful reminder that our role isn't to sit in the seat of judgment; that seat is reserved for God alone. Many misunderstand this verse as a warning to never express a viewpoint or take a moral stand. However, it’s actually an invitation to approach life and relationships with a spirit of humility and grace.

So often, we become fixated on the flaws and failings of others, missing out on the opportunity for self-examination and spiritual growth. When we release our grip on the gavel of judgment, we free our hands to lift in prayer β€” for ourselves and for others.

Ask Yourself: Am I holding onto judgments that are poisoning my heart and hindering my relationship with God and others?

πŸ™ Prayer of the Day

Heavenly Father,

Today, I surrender my tendency to judge and critique, asking for Your grace to fill my heart. Help me to see others through Your eyes of compassion and mercy. May I be more concerned with the integrity of my own heart than the perceived failings of those around me.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

πŸ–‹ Quote of the Day

"Christians are not inspectors; they are spiritual fruit pickers looking for any sign of life."

β€” Mark Driscoll

This song helps remind us that our identity isn't formed by the judgments of the world but by who God says we are.
