Verse of the Day

Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." This verse reminds us that when we trust in God and seek His guidance in all that we do, He will direct our paths and bring about the plans that He has for us.

It can be easy to get caught up in our own desires and plans for the future, but this verse reminds us to seek the Lord first and trust in His will for our lives. When we commit our work to Him, we can have confidence that He will guide us and establish our plans.

This doesn't mean that life will always be easy or that things will always go according to our own plans, but it does mean that God is sovereign and has a purpose for our lives. When we trust in Him and seek His will, He will work everything out for our good and His glory.

So, as you start your day, remember to commit your work and plans to the Lord. Trust in His guidance and know that He has a good plan for your life.

Prayer of the Day

Dear Lord,

As the new day dawns and the sun rises, we give you thanks and praise for all that you are and all that you do. We thank you for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve you and be a blessing to others.

We ask that you guide us and give us wisdom as we start this new day. Help us to seek your will in all that we do and to trust in your plan for our lives. Give us the strength and courage to face any challenges that come our way, knowing that you are always with us.

We pray that your love and grace will surround us and give us peace and joy throughout the day.

In your holy name we pray, Amen.
