Verse of the Day

Psalm 23:6 states, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."

This verse reminds us that God's goodness and mercy will always be with us, no matter where we go or what we face in life. We can trust that He will guide and protect us every step of the way. And ultimately, we will dwell in His house for eternity.

It's a reminder that even though we may go through difficult times, and we may not understand why certain things happen, we can trust that God's goodness and mercy will always be present. We can take comfort in knowing that He will never leave us or forsake us.

The verse also serves as a reminder that our ultimate home is with God in heaven. It reminds us that this life is temporary, and that our true home is with God for eternity. It gives us hope and peace knowing that one day we will be with Him forever.

In times of trouble and uncertainty, we can hold onto this verse and trust in the goodness and mercy of our Lord. He will never leave us or forsake us, and we can take comfort in knowing that we will dwell with Him forever.

Prayer of the Day

Dear Lord,

As we begin this new day, we come before you with open hearts and grateful minds. We thank you for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve you in all that we do.

We ask for your guidance and wisdom as we go about our daily tasks. Give us the strength and determination to do your will, and the courage to face any challenges that may come our way.

Help us to see the beauty and goodness in the world around us, and to spread your love and kindness to all those we encounter.

May we always remember that we are Your children, and that you are always with us, guiding us on our journey through this life.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
