🙏 Verse of the Day: 1 Peter 3:18
🌞 Good Friday morning,
Today’s email is brought to you by unfoldingWord, a nonprofit committed to seeing the Church in every people group and the Bible in every language.
Have a blessed day.
📖 Verse of the Day

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.”
Reflection
There's something breathtaking about the words "once for sins." Not repeatedly. Not conditionally. Just once—completely and forever. The righteous for the unrighteous. The sinless One taking the place of the guilty. The Creator dying for His creation.
And for what purpose? "To bring you to God." Every lash, every thorn, every nail—all to build a bridge across the chasm our sin had created. The cross was never about shame—it was about love. A love that bled, broke, and bore the weight of our rebellion so we wouldn't have to.
On this Good Friday, as we stand at the foot of the cross, don't just mourn—marvel. We see more than a historical event. We see love that bleeds. We see mercy with wounds. We see the moment heaven touched earth at its darkest point.
Christ didn't die for a crowd—He died for you. This is love with its sleeves rolled up. This is grace with skin on. You are not forgotten. You are blood-bought, deeply loved, and fully redeemed.
Ask Yourself
What does it mean to me that Christ died once for all—for me?
How can I respond to His sacrifice not just with emotion, but with devotion?
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Father God,
My heart stands silent before the cross today. What love You showed in giving Your Son for me! Every wound He bore tells the story of how far You'd go to bring me home.
Thank You for paying a price I could never earn. Let me linger here at the cross, not rushing past its wonder. Help me live as someone truly rescued—grateful, forgiven, and made new by Your love that gave everything for me.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
🖋 Quote of the Day
“We sinned for no reason but an incomprehensible lack of love, and He saved us for no reason but an incomprehensible excess of love.”
— Peter Kreeft
