📖 Verse of the Day
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.”
Reflection
The most precious gifts often come wrapped in sacrifice.
On this holy day, as we prepare our hearts for the wonder of Christmas, let's marvel at love's greatest gift: Jesus. He who held the stars in His hands chose a manger for a bed. He who heard the praises of angels chose the soft cries of a stable.
Imagine it—infinite deity wrapped in fragile swaddling clothes. The One who spoke galaxies into existence, now a quiet infant. Why? Because His love for you compelled Him to bridge the gap sin created.
He became poor to make us rich—not with earthly wealth, but with an inheritance of forgiveness, belonging, and eternal life. The manger whispers what the cross would later shout—that to Him, you were worth it all.
This Christmas Eve, let this truth transform you: Heaven's greatest treasure left everything to make you His own. And He'd do it again, in a heartbeat. Let that love be your greatest treasure this Christmas.

🙏 Prayer of the Day
Father,
My heart overflows with gratitude this Christmas Eve. Thank You for Your incredible love, sending Your only Son, Jesus, to become poor, that I might be rich in You. Forgive me for the times I've overlooked this amazing gift. Open my eyes to see Your love more clearly. Open my heart to share it freely with those around me. Let my life reflect the wonder of this holy season. Use me, Lord, for Your glory.
In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
🖋 Quote of the Day
“This Christmas season, when the world seems to be in turmoil—wars are breaking out in different places, crime is rampant, many things are happening that are great sins in the sight of God—but in that crib is the Person who would grow up to save us, and He did.”
— Billy Graham
