π Verse of the Day
βFor God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.β
Reflection
How easily we slip into thinking we've wandered too far, fallen too hard, failed too often. That voice inside whispers we're beyond reach, that surely God must be disappointed. We carry our mistakes like heavy stones, don't we? Each one adding to the weight of shame.
But then comes John 3:17, breaking through our darkness like dawn: God didn't send His Son to condemn us. The miracle of Christmas wasn't heaven's judgment, but heaven's love reaching down. Jesus didn't leave His throne to point out our failures, but to lift us from them. Not to push us away, but to bring us home.
Every detail of His coming whispers this truthβthe humble manger, the shepherd's welcome, the star's light piercing darkness. From His first cry to His final breath, Jesus declared God's heart: not condemnation, but salvation. Not rejection, but restoration.
Today, let this truth set your heart free: You're not God's disappointment; you're the reason He came. And He would make that same choice again and again, just to reach you.
Ask Yourself
How does knowing God's heart is to save, not condemn, change how you see His love?
Where do you need to exchange condemnation for His saving grace today?
π Prayer of the Day
Dear Heavenly Father,
Sometimes I carry the weight of my mistakes, my fears, and my doubts, as if I have to fix them all myself. But Your Word reminds me that You didnβt send Jesus to condemn me but to save me. Thank You for seeing me in my mess and loving me enough to draw near.
Help me release the shame I hold onto and embrace the gift of Your grace. Let Your love renew my heart today and fill me with the peace only You can give. I lift my eyes to You, my Savior, my refuge, my hope.
In Jesusβ name, Amen.
π Quote of the Day
βThe heart of salvation is the Cross of Christ. The reason salvation is so easy to obtain is that it cost God so much.β
