📖 Verse of the Day

“Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death.”

Reflection:

When life is going well, it's easy to think our wealth and resources make us secure. Our world constantly tells us that having enough money can protect us from anything. But Proverbs 11:4 pierces through this illusion with a sobering truth: there comes a day when our bank accounts mean nothing.

God isn't against prosperity, but He knows something we often forget: righteousness holds power that money never could. When we stand before Him, He won't ask about our investment portfolio or retirement savings. He'll look at how we lived - our integrity, our faithfulness, our love for Him and others.

Living rightly—walking in God's ways, pursuing His heart, choosing His truth—this is what truly saves. It's an investment that pays eternal dividends, a wealth that carries weight in Heaven's economy.

Today, let's build our lives on what lasts forever.

Ask Yourself:

  • What would it look like to invest more in righteousness than riches today?

  • How might my daily choices change if I truly lived for Heaven's economy?

🙏 Prayer of the Day

Dear Father,

Today I just wanted to thank You for reminding me that true security isn't found in what I have, but in who I am because of You. In a world that measures worth by wealth, help me measure it by faithfulness instead.

Guide my choices today - when integrity costs something, when righteousness isn't profitable, when Your way isn't the easy way. Thank You that living for You brings rewards that never fade.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

"My Worth Is Not In What I Own" by Keith & Kristyn Getty

A powerful reminder that true worth isn't found in earthly riches but in Christ's righteousness—the only currency that matters on judgment day.
